Hey all, hope you are well?
I have spent today fiddling with themes etc to try and change the layout of my site and posts….. It’s taken me all day to try and understand it and implement properly. I’m not convinced I have cracked it, but I am knackered and need to go to sleep!!!
Let me know what you think and if there are any further improvements I can make, feedback is gratefully received.
Also, in my planning this week I have decided to cut back on what I am trying to achieve with my own site, as I need to conserve energy and do what makes me happy. I have decided to concentrate on my hiking, hill climbing and sharing photos of the county/country in which I live and places I visit. Despite being here only two years now, I love Dorset and the Jurassic Coast and I have so much still to explore and share.
I dare say when Covid is less of an issue, my explorations will widen out to other parts of the country and world, as and when I can…..That’s my plan anyway.
I am not going to be posting about my health issues other than the M.E (as it impacts my day to day life and ambitions) as…
a) Going over and over my chronic illnesses is like tearing scabs off. I’ve written a lot of drafts I just can’t post as it is way to painful for me, and probably a rubbish read anyways. I wanted to raise awareness of chronic illnesses and talk about them, but this appears counter productive to my health and wellbeing right now.
b) My BPD and Adrenal insufficiency is currently well controlled with medication…..And a change in my living and working conditions is really helping with this 😉
c) I feel hiking and preparing for my ascent of Pen Y Fan is a positive, healthy goal for me to work towards and I enjoy posting about my travels and adventures, I do hope you enjoy reading…..
d) I tried to be too ambitious in my original plans and I needed to rethink what I was trying to achieve as my head was in a whirl!
e) I enjoy guest posting on Renards World which I feel is a fitting outlet for other posts I wish to make. This will mean this site remains uncluttered and more focussed on (one of) my original goal(s).
I would like to thank Renard for the opportunity and the welcome I have received from him and his readers it has been a wonderful, heart warming experience which I hope will be long term….
I do hope these changes I have made are positive and that you continue to read about my hiking, hill climbing and exploring 🙂
Tell me about your week. How has it been so far?
